Webinar: "Component-resolved diagnostics, allergen-specific immunotherapy and family budget"

Dear colleagues!

INUNIMAI kindly invites you to participate in the webinar “Component-resolved diagnostics, allergen-specific immunotherapy and family budget”.

Webinar will be held July 14, 2016, 12:30-13:30 (Moscow time) on internist.ru.

Speaker: Dr. Prof. Head of the Laboratory of Clinical Allergology Marina A. Mokronosova, Institute of Vaccines and Serums named by I. Mechnikov

Abstract

Clinicians use allergen-specific immunotherapy (AIT) as efficient allergy therapy more than 100 years. During this period both methods of diagnosis and monitoring of therapy efficacy as well as AIT drugs were greatly improved. However, meta-analysis of publications describing AIT efficacy in population demonstrates ambiguous results. Such results are supposed to be associated with unjustified criteria for patient selection, unstandardized allergy vaccines (according to concentrations of allergen components) and absence of accompanying monitoring of tolerance growth to major allergen components.

Lecture plan:

  1. Meta-analysis of AIT efficacy. Materials of EAACI 2016 Congress.
  2. Possible reasons of non-efficient AIT. Objective criteria for AIT prescription according to WAO regulations. Allergy vaccine standardization for efficient AIT.
  3. Component-resolved diagnostics as a tool for correct AIT prescription and monitoring
  4. AIT and family budget
  5. New recombinant vaccines – high efficacy of AIT in the near future
